I have been “advising advisory firms” since late 2009.
Leading up to this, I spent 22 years as a management consultant operating in some of the world’s largest organisations, including Lloyds TSB, Glaxo, Aviva, Volkswagen, Barclays, and Littlewoods Shop Direct.
I was Managing Vice President at Hitachi Consulting responsible for driving rapid growth in the UK, and a member of Hitachi’s Global Consulting Committee and European Strategy Board as the Group continued to move from a conglomerate to an integrated solution provider in multiple markets. I acquired Oracle and Microsoft consultancy Edenbrook in early 2009, integrating it successfully into the existing Hitachi Consulting UK team.
Prior to this, I had co-founded and grown management consulting firm Impact Plus, which I sold to Hitachi in early 2007. I learnt the basics at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a fresh graduate from Cambridge University.
I was President of the Management Consultancies Association in 2005/6. I continue to maintain industry relationships, have been a judge at the annual MCA Awards and am a Growth Expert at The Consultancy Growth Network.
Outside work, I am a keen wildlife photographer, ski poorly and enjoy scuba diving in warm water!
